- A young Red Robe named Zebulah appears in the ruins of Istar much to the surprise of Apoletta and her followers.
- Takhisis sends her servants all over Krynn in search of Berem, the Green Gemstone Man, so she can restore the gateway and re-enter Krynn. Unbeknownst to her, Berem travels to Tarsis, Barter, and Thorbardin, where he is captured by Daergar and thrown into a dungeon for fifty years.
