• Beryl attempts to invade Thorbardin, but the mountain fortress was sealed. Prior to that, Severus Stonehand and his followers attempted to fight her using a fire dragon egg. Many of Beryl's dragon followers were killed, and much of Thorbardin was devastated. Severus and his followers leave Thorbardin in exile.
• Palin Majere has the Academy of Sorcery built in Solace to teach students sorcery.
