Ackal II (? - 2575 PC) was the son of the warlord Ackal Ergot, and the second Emperor of Ergoth. Ackal II ruled the empire from 2595 PC to 2575 PC and instituted few major changes. He continued to build the great imperial road Ackal's Path, however it was not completed in his lifetime. During his reign, he warred with the many tribes of the Great Green. Even in his old age, he prepared for a campaign against his lifelong enemies, the Wak-shu tribe. However as he prepared for his final ride into battle, he collapsed at the northern gate of Daltigoth, which was renamed to the Dermount Portal after his birth name.

Inconsistencies[]

In The Seventh Sentinel (Novel), Ackal Dermount is described as finding war unprofitable and leading Ergoth into a mercantile age. Trade with dwarves and elves continues for six centuries, until the Kinslayer War.
