Breyhard (2425 PC - 2395 PC) was an Ergothian Noble who rose to prominence in the court of Ergoth Emperor Ackal V. He was married to Kannya Zan, a portly woman who was a member of the Pakin family. In 2395 PC, Lord Breyhard was already a promising general and was then given command of all Riders of the Great Horde in the nation of Ergoth. As many of his fellow warlords fell in defeat to the Bakali forces, Lord Breyhard was commissioned by the emperor to stop the reptilian advance. The general led one hundred and eighteen thousand troops across the Dalti River at Eagle's Ford and won a minor victory against the enemy. However a short time after his minor victory, the monstrously large bakali host attacked Lord Breyhard's army and soundly defeated them, slaying the general himself.
Breyhard was described as a large man with a paunchy frame, who had hair that was prematurely grey by the time he was thirty.
