The Brightblade Family was one of the oldest families, and could trace their roots back to the founding of Solamnia. The family has always been known for their toughness in any situation, and have been known by the Brightblade that has been passed down from father to son. The family has always had a Knight of Solamnia in the Knighthood with the last knight being Sturm Brightblade. Steel Brightblade went a different route by joining with the Knights of Takhisis instead of the Solamnic Knights.
