The Broken Stretch Quarter is a district in the Ogre city of Daltigoth. The district was located in the eastern part of the city. When the city was in Human hands the district was used by those living by the river. By the Age of Mortals the district was a slum of poorer ogres and trolls (among others). The northeastern part of the city wall was in ruins. During the reign of Tdarnk, the ruined wall was patrolled by a White Dragon. In 19 PC, the Tower of High Sorcery at Daltigoth was destroyed and showered magical debris on the area that would be known as Broken Stretch. The debris caused mutations and birth defects in animals and people. With ogres this led to more ogre mages, giants, and hags.
