Chaltiford (? PC - 1021 PC) was a male Ogre with blood-shot eyes, was considered big and strong and would rather fight some easy pickings that against the Knights of Solamnia. After the death of Delmarkiam Slashmaster he became the Chieftain of his tribe. He had a strong love for gold for no other reason that it was gold. He also loathed both Solamnics and dwarves equally.
He participated in the Battle Near the Kharolis Mountains, where his unit of one thousand ogres were defeated by a combined force of knights and dragons. Chaltiford survived, and decided the Third Dragon War was not for him, and that he should attack something easier, weaker.
He came upon a gold dragon that had died, and decided to raid its nest in search of easy pickings gold. After going into the nest he came across a gold hatchling that blew some fire at him. This caused Chaltiford to fall into a pit and break both of his legs and both of his shoulders. This allowed for the gold hatchlings to eat him with little trouble.
