The Dark Tower is located on the Redstone Bluffs of the Kharolis Mountains, near the edge of the Faerie Realm. It was protected by a stone golem simply called the guardian. This guardian guards the dark tower, it is crudely carved in the shape of a bald, muscular man. It has malachite eyes that gleam with green light, legs that are as thick as pillars, and it stands ten feet in height.
History[]
A wizard once owned the Dark Tower and tried to create life here, but he died in 1607 PC. As of 393 AC, the tower sits in ruins with a deep pit in the middle of it. It is nothing more than a tumble of stones standing on a broad shelf halfway up a towering snow-capped mountain. Caramon, Dezra, Borlos, and Trephas travelled here to retrieve Soulsplitter that had been hidden here years ago by the sprites. After looking for it briefly, Dezra found it triggering the golem to attack. She was almost dragged down into the ground, but both of the golem's arms were cut off allowing them to escape.
