The Dead Well is a long forgotten underwater city of the Yaggol. Like the Blood Shoal, it is a gigantic cylindrical shaft that had been excavated into the sea floor, with an unknown diameter. The entrance to the Well is plugged with coral. The walls of the Well are engraved with a strange flowing script that covers every inch of walls surface except where the yaggol carved images in their likeness. The script is in an unknown tongue and it stills glows faintly with magic, enough to temper the dark of the Well.
Many tunnels branch off from the main shaft of the Well, intersecting and doubling back in a maze of confusion. At the end of the main shaft is an open chamber filled with columns and several walkways. The walkways lead to a large, circular altar that is ancient and pitted.
It is not known how the forgotten city got its name but the Dead Well is apt as it is home to blasphemous beings like the Desolate Maiden, a terrible creature of undeath who haunts the dark tunnels of the Well.
