Elijayess is an incredibly strong Kagonesti elf, a well traveled warrior who fought against Lorac's Nightmare in Silvanesti before becoming a scout and resistance fighter in the Desolation. The Heroes of Destiny met him in Port Balifor while he was working with Kronn Thistleknot. He agreed to guide the party through a pass in the Goodlund Mountains and across the Desolation to the ruins of Kendermore where he was looking for the remains of a lost kender expedition. When Elijayess and the party arrived at Kendermore and found part of the expedition he decided to stay and guard the rescued kender while the party continued on to the Peak of Malys.
After briefly reuniting with the Heroes when they returned from defeating Sindra the Dragonspawn and acquiring the fabled Dragonlance of Huma, Elijayess parted company with them and guided the kender out of Kendermore and back across the Desolation to Port Balifor.
