Elspeth (? AC - ? AC) was a female Kagonesti Elf who was a follower of Valthonis from the moment he turned from the god Paladine into a mortal. Whilst all the followers of the former god could recall the precise moment that they met Valthonis, none of them could recall Elspeth, except that she seemed to have always been present that they could remember. The elf was lovely in appeareance, with long white hair and crystal blue eyes, although her face rarely showed any emotion. Elspeth generally wore a rough tunic and practical leather breeches. She remained aloof and was thoroughly shy of the rest of the Faithful (Valthonis’ followers), and was mute, but no-one knew whether she was born mute or had suffered a grievous injury somehow.
In 422 AC, Valthonis and the Faithful were trekking through the Khalkist Mountains, when the group was surprised by a minotaur war party, led by the warrior Galdar. Galdar informed Valthonis that he had been given an assignment by Sargas himself, asking him to bring Valthonis and Mina together to resolve their differences and to also resolve the conflict in the heavens. Valthonis agreed and freely went with Galdar, leaving Elspeth and his Faithful behind. However Elspeth chose to follow the minotaur war party, and the Faithful in turn chose to follow Elspeth to look out for and protect her.
Elspeth led the Faithful to the valley of Neraka, where they discovered the monk Rhys Mason and his dog Atta, and the minotaur Galdar once more. The Faithful asked where Valthonis was, and Rhys explained what had occurred with Mina and that they had left for Godshome. Elspeth offered spiritual healing to Galdar, took up the broken body of Nightshade Pricklypear, and led the Faithful away from the area.
