The Footprint of Chaos is located north of Thelgaard in Elkholm province of Solamnia. It is a canyon that if you were to look upon it from dragon back, it would look like a three-toed footprint. During the Chaos War, Fire Dragons made an attack from this location upon Solamnia and this is all that is left of that attack. Before the Dragon Overlord Khellendros was killed, this would mark the boundary of his lands, owning everything north of it, while Solamnia proper at the time was south of it. The bottom of the canon is covered in perpetual smoke, that rises fifteen feet out of the canyon, but when explorers looked inside the canyon, no fires could be seen as the cause of the smoke.
