Gezele Ella (313 AC349 AC) was a female Human who was one of the most notorious criminals throughout Taladas in the Age of Despair. She was born in the lands of Thenol, and begun down a dark path at the tender age of twelve, when she robbed and murdered her own uncle, a priest of Hith. Gezele fled into the wilderness before she could be tracked down, and then undertook a life of crime for the next nineteen years. She was a powerfully built woman that stood over seven feet tall, had long gray hair, dark green eyes, plump cheeks and thin lips. Gezele normally was garbed in banded armor, and carried a studded club into battle. She also usually wore a silver pendant which was fashioned into a bony claw, to designate her fealty to Angomeith.

At some point in her career, Gezele learnt the secrets of mind control from an elven wizard, who she then murdered, which enabled her to be completely resistant to all forms of mental probes and scrying. She was a ruthless cutthroat, who could be cultured and eloquent when needed, and had a curious passion for poetry and art. Gezele was also deeply religious and wholly dedicated to Angomeith, and loyal to his fellow servants, such as Grott.

In 344 AC, Gezele was finally caught in the city of Kristophan, where she had attempted to poison the horses of the New City district livestock dealers, in a plot to corner the horse trade market. She killed off eight hundred horses before she was caught, and then bribed her guards shortly before her execution and escaped. In embarrassment, the Kristophan authorities told the people that she had died from fever in prison, and the criminal wisely chose to maintain a low profile for the next few years. Instead she turned to assailing small communities in both Northern Hosk and Southern Hosk, at which time she found a partner in Grott, one of the Wretched Ones, and a fellow worshipper of Angomeith.

In 348 AC, she was contacted by the Aurak Draconian Chorahh, who knew of her criminal past and wanted to recruit her to serve as his primary dragon hunter. Gezele accepted and in a matter of months had personally killed over fifty dragons alone. She then set about recruiting other hunters for Chorahh, such as Anishta, Tekolo, Kohver, Dagobert, Pollip, and the like. Gezele was the other hunter who had direct contact or even knew Chorahh's identity, which made her a target to follow for a band of adventurers who sought to undermine the operation in 349 AC. She and Grott inadvertently led the adventurers directly to Chorahh, and as punishment, the pair were banished to another plane of existence. However shortly after the banishment, Gezele and Grott were retrieved by Erestem, who petitioned them to serve as leaders of her dark army, along with Anishta.

Eager to prove herself, Gezele formed an alliance with the Black Dragon Kahh, and with the dragon's help, launched an assault on the adventurers when they entered Eborium. Kahh was driven off, and Gezele and Grott were defeated by the adventurers, but escaped shortly after. However only a short time, Gezele appeared at the head of a large army to attack the adventurers and their allies, and fought in a huge battle. The adventurers and their Othlorx allies were the victors, resulting in Gezele Ella's final death.
