Grimbough (Summer, 383 AC - Autumn, 393 AC) was a Daemon Tree in the eastern park of Darken Wood. It was once the grandest oak tress in all of the woods before Chaos touched it. Once it feasted on its first create it gained the ability to think, speak, and lusted for blood. Its power comes from corrupting others. It was massive, looming higher than any of the centuries-old trees around it with night-black bark that is deeply gnarled, cloaked with shelf fungi and rusty moss. It had enormous roots that snake through the ground, branches that claw skyward like skeletal arms, and sharp-toothed leaves that seem to whisper with voices.

Grimbough had the ability to change the natives living in Darken Wood into Skorenoi Centaur and Shadow-satyr to serve its purpose of bringing in new recruits to bring it more souls and food.

Dezra's Quest[]

After Chrethon was exiled, he came to Grimbough and Grimbough converted his tribe into the new Skorenoi to help serve his purpose in the forest. The Forestmaster was captured and imprisoned during this time also. Grimbough brought change and destruction to much of Darken Wood, but the chaos he brought wouldn't last.

The father daughter duo of Caramon Majere and Dezra Majere arrived in Grimbough's grove. Caramon had acquired the Soulsplitter axe, and started chopping Grimbough down with this magical weapon. Just as he is about to finish him off, Caramon suffers another heart attack. As he was dying, he handed the axe to Dezra who finished off Grimbough ending his chaos on the forest.
