Grimtruth Bane (? PC - Early Winter, 553 PC) was a male Icereach Ogre and was the King of Icereach until his son killed him in 553 PC. His first wife was Hannareit ber Bane before he tired of her in her old years and banished her to Dracoheim in 556 PC. He then took a second wife, Thraid Dimmarkull, in the summer of 553 PC. After many failures, Grimwar Bane knew that Grimtruth needed to be removed as King, and he challenged him. Grimwar used the Barkon Sword and Grimtruth used the Axe of Gonnas. It was a very physical contest, but eventually the younger Grimwar wore down Grimtruth and struck his hand with the Barkon Sword, causing the Axe of Gonnas to fall. Gimwar picked up the axe and ended Grimtruth's life becoming the next King of Icereach.
