Gurik Cha'ahl are the offspring of Goblins that have some kind of abnormality and are driven out of normal goblin villages. The goblins believe that the "ghost people" are goblin infants who have been possessed by the spirit of an ancestor and the physical deformities are the results of the two spirits fighting over the one body. The ghost people tend to stand between three and a half, to four feet tall, and are normally garbed in little more than furs.
Once the gurik cha'ahl were only prevalent in Taladas, however following the Age of Mortals, there has been a large increase of gurik cha'ahl being born on Ansalon as well, with a number of them forming their own village of Gurik P'lresse in the goblin nation of Sikk'et Hul.
Goblins believe that killing a gurik cha'ahl will bring exceedingly bad luck, hence why they are simply driven out of goblin villages, rather than killed. Gurik cha'ahl tend to keep to themselves and hate other goblins, once they learn that they are not welcome in goblinoid settlements. They even tend to hate one another, and will only normally band together when fighting normal goblins. However the gurik cha'ahl are far less aggressive towards other races, only attacking when they are hungry.
