Harkul Gelfig (? PC - ? AC) was a very, very fat kender with gray hair, and founder of Gelfigburg.
Following the Cataclysm, in 6 AC to be exact, Harkul was out exploring The Ruins when he got sucked into a portal. Upon arrival, he found absolutely nothing, so he did what any kender would do, and searched the place. Eventually he found an invisible box, and through the use of his lockpicks he was able to open the box. Inside he found a silver necklace with a triangle on it. Harkul wore the necklace, and next thing he knew, everything he thought of happened. He thought of candy, and formed the entire area out of it, including the city of Gelfigburg. So over the course of the next three hundred and forty years he would live in the town, gaining a ton of weight since the only thing to eat was candy. More kender would pop up from time to time as they found the portal. And through all of this time, Harkul thought only about four months had passed. Eventually in 346 AC, Trapspringer Furrfoot and Damaris Metwinger arrive by the same way, and they thought they were stuck. But eventually Tasslehoff Burrfoot started appearing in the portal, but Vinsint on the other side was pulling the kender back. The kender of Gelfigburg tried to pull him in, but Vinsint was too strong and pulled all of them back onto Ansalon.
Last that Harkul was seen, he was returning to Kendermore.
