Ho-tii are the permanent dwellings of the Ice People of the Panak Desert that are normally based in the southern pastures of the region. The ho-tii are built from peat and rock, with roofs comprised of branches and peat. Oiled seal-skins are used to keep out the wind and rain.
Tribes nearer to the Ring Mountains tend to build their ho-tii out of wood and stone. The semi-nomadic Ice People make progressive renovations and repairs to their ho-tii when they return to them every summer. Some ho-tii are quite impressive, but still pale in comparison to the elaborate anho-ti of the makau of each tribe.
