Hullek Skullsmasher (? AC - ? AC) was a fearsome half-ogre fighter, who claimed that the blood of ogre warlords and nomad princes ran in his veins. He was far smarter than most of his colleagues in the Dragonarmies, and considered Highlord Lucien of Takar, as something of a role model to aspire to. For the duration of the War of the Lance, Hullek was kept in a far-off post north of Khur, by Highlord Salah-Khan. Fearing that the popular Highmaster would seek his position, Hullek was punished and kept isolated from most of the Green Dragonarmy. However with the death of Salah-Khan in 356 AC, Hullek was quickly called on by the remnant forces to represent them as Highlord of the Green Dragonarmy. The half-ogre eagerly agreed and mobilized the Green Dragonarmy back into a fighting force, quickly allying his forces with the more powerful Blue Dragonarmy under Highlord Kitiara Uth Matar. Highlord Hullek maintained his force until the Blue Lady's War in 357 AC, in which both the Green and Blue Dragonarmies were crushed and utterly defeated.
The half-ogre had a feeblemind spell cast on him by a wizard and was captured by mercenaries working for the Whitestone forces in 357 AC. Hullek was put in irons in a chain gang and began to be led back to the lands of Solamnia. The half-ogre was unable to utter anything other than his name ‘Hullek’, making him appear as if he was a dimwit. Hullek engineered an escape however, enabling himself and his fellows in the chain gang to escape to a nearby town. They found the town abandoned, as the residents had fled from an approaching dragon. The dragon was a brass however, and the goodly creature told Hullek to wish the residents all the best, before it left. Hullek’s companions told the residents on their return, that they had confronted and driven off the beast, saving the town from certain destruction.
The former Highlord and his newfound comrades were hailed as heroes and remained in the town in the Qwermish region.
