Hurach (? AC - Autumn, 393 AC) was a male satyr that lived in Darken Wood. After he was changed into a Shadow-satyr he was stooped, shaggy, covered with dark, bristling hair, a bushy beard, and one horn was broken off. He could also see perfectly fine in the dark, just as if it was day.
Dezra's Quest[]
In the spring of 393 AC, he was being hunted by Skorenoi Centaurs before being captured by Leodippos. He was not killed, but instead brought to the daemon tree Grimbough. Grimbough decided not to just kill Hurach, but dragged him under the ground and consumed his soul, changing him into a shadow-satyr.
During the Battle of Ithax, he snuck in while it was under siege and killed four of the guards. Then opened the postern gate to allow for the Skorenoi Centaurs to attack the village. The village fell and was burned to the ground. Hurach was tasked with getting Soulsplitter and after he took it he used it to kill the guards protecting it, Phenestis and Xaor and brought it back to Chrethon. When the heres Caramon Majere, Dezra Majere, and other centaurs came to get it to stop the slaying of the Forestmaster, Hurach and Caramon got into a fight. Caramon won when he smashed his old dragon-winged helm into Hurach, killing him.
