The Solamnic noble, Lord Silvercrown, announces the beginning of his annual contest in which warriors compete for fame. Knights and warriors from across the land arrive to fight in the tournament. However even though it is considered unseemly for a female to bear arms, Silvercrown's daughter Riva chooses to try and prove herself before her father, so she can petition him to join the Knights of Solamnia.
