Juramona was the capital city of the Eastern Hundred in the Empire of Ergoth. The city was ten leagues north of the branches of the Caer River and three days ride south-southwest of Jura Hill Country. The city was surrounded by farmland and cedar trees. In the city was a manmade mound that had High House on it which was the home of the Marshal of the Eastern Hundred.

History[]

The city was originally a long fort. It grew into a city around the time of the first Marshals of the empire.

In 2421 PC, the town had a wooden wall surrounding it. Most of the buildings were also made of wood, but there were some stone ones. When Egrin was made Marshal he had stone towers constructed and began to have the wall covered in stone, but that was not completed.

In 2395 PC, the empire was invaded by plainsmen from the east. The plainsmen attacked and burned down the city completely. The city was later rebuilt and was the site of a battle in the later part of the Successors’ War in 2352 PC. The Pakin hordes took the city by storm.

After the Cataclysm, the ruins of Juramona were sunken and found between the islands of Northern Ergoth, Southern Ergoth, and mainland Ansalon.
