Kalrakin (? AC - 422 AC) was a Sorcerer who took over of the Tower of High Sorcery at Wayreth following the War of Souls. He was tall, gaunt, had a hooked-nose that was a massive beak, deep-set eyes that sparkled with intelligence, ambition, and a hint of madness. He also had bushy eyebrows, a silver-black beard, and a tangle of long gray hair.
Following the War of souls, Kalrakin was traveling with another sorcerer named Luthar. They happened upon the Tower of Wayreth, and wanted to unlock its secrets. They were not going to allow for Wizards to have the Tower back. A young girl named Coryn Brinefolk arrived at the tower, and she was able to trick the two (with a lot of help from Solinari) into allowing her to take The Test. She passed, and escaped from Kalrakin.
Coryn would come back to the tower with Jenna and Dalamar, along with all the Wizards of High Sorcery that answered the summons to return. In a violent and highly magical battle, the wizards reclaimed the tower from Kalrakin when Coryn punctured both of his lungs and his heart with her arrows. As he was dieing, Dalamar finished him off by slicing and dicing him with his knife.
