Kastil Weoledge (? - ? AC) was a tavern singer. He came from a Noble family from Portsmith in Coastlund. His great-grandfather, grandfather, and father had all been Knights of Solamnia. His father retired from the knighthood after he lost his right arm. According to family tradition the eldest son, Kastil, was to enter the knighthood and Camilla Weoledge, his youngest sister was to enter the clergy of Kiri-Jolith. After being accepted as a squire, Kastil deserted. He found the knighthood too rigid for his taste. He left behind a magical longsword. The sword's pommel was the shape of a Griffon's claw holding a red gem. Camilla later claimed the sword. The last his family heard of him he was traveling Ansalon as a singer in taverns.
Kender Tales[]
One source described Kastil as a former Knight of the Crown, but since Kastil deserted after a few weeks he had to be only a squire.
