Kolanda Darkmoor (? - 339 AC) was a respected warrior, who was infamous for her temerity and minor victories in early campaigns. Described as a slender and beautiful young woman, with the cool gaze of someone who had given into darkness long ago, Darkmoor was known to be ambitious and callous. In a bid to rise to power, she entered into a dark pact with the wizard Caliban, which linked their lives together and ensured her survival, and the use of his considerable magical powers. Sealing the pact by killing her own brother, Darkmoor joined the Dragonarmies and begun her ascension to power. Assigned as a Highmaster of the Red Dragonarmy in 339 AC, she was one of the first recognized generals during these formative years. Given the role of claiming the lands surrounding Pax Tharkas, as well as the dwarven nation of Thorbardin with her goblin and ogre legions, Darkmoor was fairly successful for a time. Through use of dark magic by her undead ally Caliban, the warrior succeeded in harrying the people around the surrounding area and camped her army near Skullcap. She was cut down and killed by an arrow fired by the elf Garon Wendesthalas in her camp, and her army dissolved soon after.
