The Leaping Hart Tribe was one of the seven centaur tribes in Darken Wood. This was one of the original tribes of centaurs, as when the Graygem passed over tribes of horsemen and created centaurs, they had to scatter and be nomadic as humans hated them instantly. When all the clans joined, they formed seven great tribes. But thanks to one of the tribe's great leaders, Peldarin, and the use of Soulsplitter, they were able to stop from being destroyed. They settled in the lands of Mithranhana, and came under the protection of the Forestmaster.
In the summer of 391 AC, Leodippos renounced the Circle of Seven and took the tribe over to the Skorenoi. They were changed by the Daemon Tree and the tribe as we know it doesn't exist.
