Lorrinar (? - ?), is another of the dragons who came from the Alien Dragon World during the early part of the Age of Mortals. A green dragon who is measured at just over one hundred feet in length, the sleek Lorrinar is known to possess great speed and agility that far surpasses any of the other Alien Dragons. The green dragon is curious by nature and merely seeks a peaceful life in a secluded wood, away from the harsh life from his home world, or from the other fearsome dragons of Ansalon.

The Age of Mortals[]

Lorrinar arrived from the ocean in 399 AC, and upon reaching the shores of Ansalon, he chose the Woods of Lahue in eastern Estwilde as his new home. Unlike the other alien dragons, Lorrinar did not choose a domain from which he could build a power base, subjugate the local inhabitants, and terrorize others. Rather he wanted to escape from the world, as well as, learn about the affairs of those around him.

Over the course of a few years, the Lahutians and the local dwarves and ogres had all acknowledged Lorrinar as the Lord of the Forest, and had offered their allegiance to him. However, the dragon had few dealings with any of the folk within the Wood of Lahue or the Astivar Mountains; preferring his solitude. Of the greatest concern to Lorrinar, is the constant threat that the dragon Fenalysten poses, as this rival sits perched on his borders. The green dragon is constantly concerned of the day when Fenalysten will enter the woods and kill him. To keep him informed of the possible threat, Lorrinar has a spy in the form of the female Legionnaire, Gibrana Rentir. The warrior from the Legion of Steel, serves her order first and foremost, but also supplies the dragon with information about the other dragons and the outside world.

The ogres of the Bloody Fist tribe are willing servants of Lorrinar, who guides them in mapping the tunnels of Mount Brego for him. The dragon allows the ogres to keep any treasure they find, as he is only interested in the maps themselves, and news of any magical gates within the mountain. The ogre chieftain Hrench gives any completed maps to the local dwarves of Hearthhome. The dwarven leader Krun Silverchisel is the main liaison between Lorrinar and the ogres, and delivers the maps to the dragon. This is one of the only tasks that the dragon asks of either the dwarves or the ogres, and they happily serve. Lorrinar has thus far proven to be an easy-going lord who protects the forest from intruders for them.

After the War of Souls and the defeat of the Dragon Overlord Frost, Lorrinar has vanished. Rumors abound that he has returned to the Alien Dragon homeworld, but no one has been able to confirm or deny this rumor.
