Mallarchus (243 AC - ? AC) was a maleHuman noble of Thenol who was a Great Lord of the dark nation. Whilst he has the appearance of a man in his early fifties, he is considerably older than this, having mysteriously extended his life through magic or divine grace. His standard is that of skull heraldry on a black background, and he is known as a cruel and malevolent man that delights in schemes and powerplays.
Mallarchus is quick to call those around him as his friends, particularly those in politically powerful roles, however he even quicker to betray them as well, cleverly hiding his involvement in the downfall of others. After having been a long supporter of Trandamere, Bishop of Hith, Mallarchus finally decided to undertake a power struggle with the Bishop in 352 AC, for control of all of Thenol. He gave up the ways of the warrior to enter the priesthood of Hith, as a means to move through the ranks of the god, and undermine Trandamere as ruler.
