The ruins of Mem-Ban lie on the border between the Plains of Dust and Silvanesti, somewhat northwest of Mem-Thon and just southwards of the broken King's Road. Mem-Ban was once a prominent village of the Bandari tribe, who were one of the Human desert nomad tribes of the Plains of Dust. It was also home to refugee elves during the Age of Mortals before the village was destroyed and it's residents wiped out. Mem-Ban was once known as a safe haven for the Legion of Steel, who had a covert operation based in the village for their missions into Sable's swamp.
