Mercanyin (? AC - ? AC) was a male Solamnic human that was a Knight of the Crown that had coarse dark hair and hazel eyes. He was married to Dameernya, and had been a Knight since 348 AC. He had one brother who had attained the rank of Lord Knight, but more information is unknown about him.
In 359 AC, he was tracking a White Dragon down to slay. He found it, and was successful in killing it, but as she died she asked Mercanyin to please take care of her son. Mercanyin realized he slayed an albino Silver Dragon that he mistook for a white dragon. When he realized this, he was horror struck at what he had done. This made him realize there was more to life than being a glorious knight, and decided to bring the albino baby boy silver dragon with him to his wife and their home.
