Mistral Thrax (2468 PC - ? PC) was a very old Calnar Dwarf who lived in Thorin, who then became of the Hylar. During his time, he was older than any of his clansmen by at least 50 years. During his younger years he was maimed in a rockfall, and he then dedicated his life to the study of dwarven lore for Thorin in 2250 PC.
While living in Thorin, he had a tavern he liked to frequent, Den of Respite, and even had his own table there in back called 'Mistral's Table'. During a dream one night in 2150 PC, Kitilin Fishtaker, a dwarf from legend, told Mistral to seek Everbardin in Kal-Thax, and that Thorin would become Thoradin. Soon after, Thorin was attacked by Grayfen and his human followers to steal the riches from the dwarves. During the battle, Mistral grabbed Grayfen's magic eyes from him, causing him to fall into a fire pit. The eyes were drained of their magic, and a 'Y' shaped design of magic was put on each of Mistral's hands, glowing in a red color.
Mistral carried this curse with him, and eventually made his way with the rest of the Hylar to their new home of Thorbardin. Grayfen's curse would spring to life in their new home, but Mistral was ready for it. Together with the spirit of Kitlin, they killed the curse, cleansing Mistral of his magic and allowing him to live out his days.
