The New Mountains are a set of mountain ranges located in the southern portion of Southern Hosk, on the continent of Taladas. The mountains arose following the Great Destruction, and are comprised of a number of volcanoes and hot springs. The concentric ranges are located within the dark nation of Thenol, but the bulk of the northern arm reaches towards the Imperial League, and is within it's own independent state.
The independent realm of the New Mountains is inhabited by the barbaric Tumesh, who are part of a number of primitive tribes, as well as a number of beasts both monstrous and foul. The realm is nestled between the nations of Thenol and Armach, and are also bordered to the north by the Imperial League province of Highvale.
