Nigel of Dinsmoor (? AC – 148 AC) was a male Human who was a Knight of Solamnia that died defending the Temple of Paladine in Hope's End against the faithless. His body was interred in a tomb in the temple, and his spirit rose to guard against intruders. Nigel's spirit guarded the tomb for 200 years in relative peace until 348 AC, when the Dragon Immolatus entered the temple. Kitiara Uth Matar also entered and spoke with Sir Nigel, asking for his help in defeating the dragon.
Nigel made a plea to Paladine and brought down the roof of the tunnel that Immolatus was travelling through, greatly injuring the dragon. The spirit then passed beyond the world as his soul had done all he could to protect the Metallic Dragon eggs stored within.
