Nirakina ( 3220 PC - 1905 PC) was a Silvanesti Elf who was the wife of Sithel Silvanos, the Speaker of the Stars. She originally hailed from Clan Silver Moon, and was described as being small by elven standards, with almost doll-like features. Nirakina had honey-brown hair and eyes, and radiated a sense of gentleness, that had a calming effect on those around her.
Sithel Silvanos[]
Nirakina was betrothed to Sithel some time around 2665 PC, during the Second Dragon War. In 2308 PC, she gave birth to twin sons, Sithas and Kith-Kanan, which would become both her and Sithel's pride and joy. Throughout the next series of decades, she served as wife and advisor to her husband, comforting him and providing wise counsel when needed. She grew concerned when her son Kith-Kanan fled Silvanost, after his heart was broken when his lover Hermathya was promised to her other son Sithas. Over the coming months she grew more concerned for his welfare and finally petitioned her husband to make Sithas co-ruler of Silvanost, in return for bringing Kith home (as he would not be able to make a claim to the throne then). Sithel initially complied, but Sithas convinced his father not to make him co-ruler, as it would be viewed by the people as a sign of weakness. Nirakina was hurt that Sithel still would not summon Kith-Kanan home, but threw herself into providing relief for the displaced settlers who came to Silvanost, to forget her anguish over her lost son. However the aid that Nirakina provided would turn against her, when a riot broke out and several settlers attacked her. Her assistant Tamanier Ambrodel managed to protect Nirakina long enough for aid to arrive in the form of Prince Sithas and his guards, with Sithas promising to reward Tamanier for his bravery.
Tamanier Ambrodel[]
In 2192 PC she received the news from her son Sithas of the death of her husband during a hunting trip. Nirakina was so stricken by grief she had to be carried from the palace. Over the course of the next few decades, Nirakina continued to develop a close friendship with Tamanier, until finally in 2170 PC, the pair were wed. The pair had a happy relationship together, having a child by the name of Kemian. The great elven matriarch finally passed away peacefully in 1905 PC, leaving her husband Tamanier and son Kemian behind.
