Sahuagins are a reptilian aquatic race. They have blackish green scales on their backs that turn white on their chest. Sometimes they have black and green stripes on their backs. On their spines is a dorsal fin that is black at the base and sometimes red at the tip. Sahuagin fingers and toes are webbed making them great swimmers. Their mouths have sharp teeth. The sahuagin arms, legs, and backs have frills on them.
They cannot breathe fresh water well. They have the ability to communicate telepathically with sharks and are sometimes referred to as shark-people. Sahuagin have a fear of Magic and a hatred of numerous races including Scrag Trolls and Brathnoc.
The sahuagin of the Courrain Ocean are in a war with the Tritons. It is known that they have a king and have two Impaling Thrones. These magical artifacts are desired by the Mahkwahb and they have entered an alliance with the sahuagin. These tribes live between the World Gash and Hygant Forest. Sahuagin are also known to live in the Tomb of Ships.
