The Solanthian Troubles were the tit for tat attacks between Ergothian soldiers from Solanthus and the villagers in the surrounding area. It was known to have taken place at least from 1817 PC - 1812 PC, but most likely lasted longer. Two events that took place that were named were the Summer of the Soot Sun and the Five Harvest Battles. Vinas Solamnus was also known to have stolen Imperial food, dressed up like Plainsmen and gave food to villagers during this time. For this he was punished. His future wife Luccia Solamnus was a rebel leader over the villagers.
