Stariz ber Glacierheim ber Bane (? PC - Late Summer, 545 PC) was a female Icereach Ogre, a High Priestess to Gonnas the Strong, and wife of Grimwar Bane and eventual Queen of Sunderhold. She stood seven feet tall, weighed 400 pounds, short-tempered, stubborn, and had a stout, squarish body similar to her face. Her hair was ropey that went past her shoulders, had a large nose, and two prominent tusks. Her favorite place to be was the Temple of Gonnas in Winterheim.
The Messenger[]
Throughout, Stariz was pushing her husband to be the king he should be, all in the name of Gonnas. She was at the invasion of Brackenrock, and when her husband was mortally wounded she healed him by the power of Gonnas, renewing his life.
During the Battle of Winterheim, Stariz took a prominent roll in trying to crush the attackers, calling upon her god to kill them. Stariz was even going to take power over Icereach and kill her husband Grimwar, but Dinekki appeared before her, smiling at her. This enraged Stariz to no end, and she crushed the fragile human with her fist, but this unleashed Dinekki's god's power to fight her own bringing immense amount of pain to Stariz. Her pain ended when the statue to Gonnas toppled over and crushed her.

Her first appearance in The Messenger, her name is misspelled as Staric ber Glacierheim ber Bane, but is corrected later in the book.
