Plot summary[]
An old mage asks you to journey years into the past, into his memory to fight a battle for him - a battle the old wizard cannot fight because he is dying. Tanis undertakes this task, at the risk of his life in order to change time itself. Tanis returns from the mists of time, not successful, but surely not defeated. But his experience in the old mage's memory leaves him changed and ennobled - with a story the Companions will never hear.
