Story is told in 355 AC with a flashback to 287 AC when L'Indasha found Oliver's egg, to 288 AC when he hatched and begun to learn life skills , and to 289 AC when Oliver had his first confrontation with another human and then he left L'Indasha to find dragons like himself.

Night of Falling Stars[]

Summary[]

Ryle feels that he failed to save his father as he stood in fear and watched a boar kill him. Vowing to never make that mistake again, he becomes one of the best mercenaries around. Tarran comes to him to help in getting revenge against Claw for killing so many of his kin. He doesn't want to kill Claw, but destroy something very special to him.

The two arrive, and Tarran is injured again and was being used as bait to bring Ryle out. Ryle threatened to destroy Claw's mate's skull shrine unless he lets Tarran go. As Tarran is escaping, he runs out of energy and Claw sees this as a chance to kill him. Instead Ryle releases the arrow that was trained on the skull and runs to help Tarran. The skull is destroyed, and Claw is crushed. In his sorrow he does not pursue and the two escape. Tarran returns to the village, and marries Reatha having unburdened himself of his fears.

Mercanyin is hunting down a white dragon in 359 AC. He finds her, and kills her with the dragon asking him to please take care of her baby boy. He finds the wyrmling and realizes he killed an albino silver dragon. This shook him to the core, so much that he decided to held home with the wyrmling to take care of it.

Summary[]

Gilbenstock and Squib are out of money with their mining business, but three men come and hire them for a huge amount of money to dig a mine. This allows Gilbenstock to use his Iron Dragon to dig the mine. While digging the mine, he finds out that the three men are actually Draconians in disguise using him to free the dragon Bloodglitter. He rigs his machine to blow, and kills the dragon and final draconian. He begins to make plans to remake his Iron Dragon.

A Dragon to the Core[]

In 368 AC, Gilbenstock and Squib are hired by three draconians in disguise as humans to open up a mineshaft with one of his inventions. Little did the gnomes know, but Bloodglitter was buried in his mine and this was going to free him. After his invention arrived there and was doing a great job of making the mine shaft, Gilbenstock found out it was to free a dragon and he sabotaged his machine to blow up the mineshaft. He made plans to return and make a new Iron Dragon.

Summary[]

The town of Graveside was thought to have been being terrorized by a dragon. Graym, Darll, Jarek, Fenris Wolf, and Fanris Wolf investigated and found a gnome, Fly-By-Night, who's invention wasn't working. After accidently fixing it, he returned to Mount Nevermind, while Graym and friends returned as "heroes" for defeating the "dragon".

Fool's Gold[]

Summary[]

Taking place in 355 AC, the story follows Jengar as he visits another town and can't tell a lie or bad things would happen to him. His dog Fool's Gold is taken hostage by a local baron until he has driven Tug and Lexi away from the town. Jengar concocts a plan with Tug and Lexi to get a ship working, and when it works the local baron wants to take it for a ride. He then rides the ship out into the sea, never to be seen again.

Scourge of the Wicked Kendragon[]

Summary[]

Mapshaker finds a Dragon Statuette in 359 AC, that turned him into a Kendragon. Not being able to control his body, he terrorizes the countryside around Daltigoth. He upset Aric when he squished him into the mud, and he demanded his honor back. After Myrthin found out, he gave chase to retrieve back his statuette. Once the three converge, Myrthin is able to turn Mapshaker back into a kender, and Aric is no longer wanting to kill the now kender.

And Baby Makes Three[]

Summary[]

Stoic John and Croesus are partners in defeating evil on Ansalon in 358 AC. Upon a return to their cave hide-out, they find a youngster named Jakster there. Stoic John was going to allow Croesus to eat the child, as the dragon had a tastes for young flesh, but during some flashbacks he realized that the child was actually his child from some time with his lover Raslyn several years back. The two of them agree to have her stay with their group after she shows how good of a cook she is.

The First Dragonarmy Bridging Company[]

In the spring of 352 AC, Kang and his bridging crew are called into service to help get the Red Dragonarmy over a river. They get to work, and even get into a battle with some of the Whitestone Army. Ultimately they are successful, only to find out they were a diversion the whole time, and the Whitestone Army had moved several hundred miles away.

The Middle of Nowhere[]

The story first takes place in 353 AC, when the town sets a trap laid out by Lozlan for a dragon that is prowling the area. With his magic, the dragon is caught and killed by its own breath weapon. Moin Rankel had agreed to change the town's name and pay Lozlan 60% in taxes for his help. They did that for the next seventeen years until 370 AC, when they had had enough.

Kaz and the Dragon's Children[]

Summary[]

More than a month after the Third Dragon War in 1017 PC, Kaz was captured by a Black Robed Mage named Brenn after having fought his creation which was an early attempt at creating a draconian. Brenn showed Kaz that he had captured a huge female silver dragon, and was using her magic and eggs in the experiments. The mage's creature broke free again, threw the mage, and fought Kaz until Kaz had destroyed him. Kaz then turned a magical device around on the mage, and shrunk him into oblivion. Kaz then rescued the eggs, found that the mother dragon had died, and destroyed the mage's lair, taking the eggs with him.

Into the Light[]

Summary[]

The Kedasa tribe are attacked by the Red Dragonarmy at midsummer of 351 AC. Mali, Biar, and Torin are the only survivors. Torin wants revenge, and will bring Mali and Biar to a new oasis so he can seek them out. While at the oasis, a sand dune shifts and almost buries Biar and Torin, but Mali saves them both. They agree to head into the foothills near Thorbardin, but when there they are attacked by two Baaz Draconian. Biar was mortally stabbed, and Torin severely injured, but thanks to Mali with the holy artifact Aquara was able to save them. They then plan to journey to Silvanesti to show that the gods had returned.

The Best[]

In 1232 PC, the King of Fredericksborough was kidnapped by his Duke half-brother, or at least, that is what Gondar put out. With this story, and the theft of many valuable items, Gondar was able to summon the very best dragon-slayers on Ansalon. Once these four were assembled, they were off to Black Mountain to slay the Red Dragon and take back all of his horde. The four showed Gondar all the weak points of his mountain, and then he got them trapped with his horde and slayed them all one at a time.

The Hunt[]

Galan is hunting his vengeance against Borac in 372 AC. He travels through swamps, and faces creatures to get his vengeance against this black dragon. Eventually he finds Borac in The Great Moors, and is going to strike him down with his Dragonlance. Borac doesn't move, and instead tells the knight to kill him as he is dying already. Borac then asks Galan how he had wronged him, and Galan can not remember. Borac tells him it is because you are a wraith, and have been dead a long time. Borac then dies, and Galan is left stabbing a dead body over and over in his rage and frustration.
