Torin (321 AC - ? AC) was a male Kedasa human that was considered tall among his people. He was a seasoned warrior for the tribe. His mother was from the Faraezi tribe, but she remained with the Kedasa. During a raid in 341 AC, both his wife and his parents were killed by the raiders. He did not remarry following her death. He was known not to like people from cities or any form of civilization.
Into the Light[]
In midsummer, 351 AC, the Kedasa were at their summer oasis when they were attacked by the Red Dragonarmy. The dragonfear on Torin made him cower in the sand, and when he came out of it the damage was done. His entire tribe was killed except for a boy named Biar and a Silvanesti Elf name Amalie Canaradon.
He was going to leave immediately to give chase and get revenge, but knew he had to take the boy and elf to a place for water since their oasis had been poisoned. Once they had arrived at Gelen Oasis, Torin was going to leave them there and continue on his revenge. Only a large sand dune collapsed and buried him and Biar, but luckily Mali was able to pull both to safety. When the sand was burying Torin he twisted his knee really bad.
Since Torin wouldn't move at a fast pace, and the oasis had been buried, he decided to take them into the foothills of the Kharolis Mountains. Upon arrival, Biar and Mali ran ahead to see what a stream looked like. While there, two Baaz Draconians attacked them, stabbing Biar in the chest mortally, and taking Mali away. Torin was able to kill one draconian, but the other injured him worst. As it went for the killing blow, Mali used the Aquara to kill it. Then she healed him and Biar to full health. Now believing the gods had returned, Torin vowed to take Mali to convince Lorac Caladon of their return.
