Venessi (? - 292 AC) was married to Con and was the mother of Hederick and Ancilla. Venessi was originally born in the city of Caergoth, but sometime after marrying Con, they decided to walk for many weeks due east to found the village of Garlund where they could set up the worship of the false god Tiolanthe. Venessi and her husband were the only two that were able to 'talk' to this god, and eventually the two of them had an argument about some sort of doctrine with the god, and Venessi had the villagers kill her husband.
When Hederick was twelve, Venessi banished him from the village to try and learn some humility. After Hederick gains the Diamond Dragon, he turns the villagers on Venessi and has her killed with their bare hands.
Venessi was short and weak, with curly faded blonde hair cut just below the ears, a round face, protruding green or blue eyes that depends on the light hitting them, and a round nose.
