Vinsint (? AC - ? AC) was an ogre that used to live in the Ruins before moving to Kendermore. He had a sloping forehead that led to a pointy brow, greasy, slicked-back dark hair. No chin, unusually long arms, horned feet, and stood almost ten feet tall. He was polite and articulated well, and could easily speak Common. His favorite game was pick-up sticks, and he was known not to like heights.
Many years prior to 346 AC, Vinsint was part of a raiding party. While near the Ruins, he was shot by an arrow by one of his own companions. A kender family healed him, and taught him Common. He then appointed himself the guardian of the Ruins, saving kender from the magical grove there. But in 346 AC, he got to meet Trapspringer Furrfoot, Damaris Metwinger, and Tasslehoff Burrfoot. Trapspringer and Damaris wandered off and fell through a portal into the realm of Gelfigburg, but when Tasslehoff got stuck in the portal, Vinsint helped pull him along with all the trapped kender there back onto Krynn.
As everyone was heading back to Kendermore, Vinsint decided to go back there also with also. He assisted in helping put out the fires there, and chose to live among the kender for awhile.
