TheWhite Dragonarmy was the smallest of the five armies of Takhisis, and it's primary role in the War of the Lance, was to provide support for the other forces. Like the other armies, only one Dragon Highlord led it, who was then served by a number of Dragon Highmasters. A small cadre of white dragons made up the White Wing, and large numbers of humans, minotaurs, draconians, and thanoi comprised the troops. The White Dragonarmy was formed along with the other four armies during the Dragonarmy formation period in 332 AC to 340 AC. By 342 AC, it was a developed force, with a number of white dragons and large numbers of troops that fleshed out it's ranks. For the next six years, the army would train and develop their skills, until they were ready to launch the offensive with the other armies in 348 AC.
349-350 AC[]
It wasn't until 349 AC, that the White Dragonarmy first saw any major action. The forces, led by Highlord Feal-Thas launched their offensive into the Goodlund region. Aided by the Black Dragonarmy, the white forces marched through Khur and Balifor, and then the White Dragonarmy waged war and conquered the Goodlund region. The White Dragonarmy also provided some minor support to the Green Dragonarmy and Red Dragonarmy during the Silvanesti conflict in 349 AC. Highlord Feal-Thas was instrumental and some early wins during this engagement, providing key information to the other armies about the lands of Silvanesti. The army bunkered down in the area from 349*350 AC, as they resupplied and recruited further troops. Feal-Thas realized that the warmer regions were too unsuitable for his dragons, and sent scouts southward to Icereach, to determine if a base could be built there.
351 AC[]
After receiving favorable reports about the terrain, in 351 AC, the White Dragonarmy migrated southwards to Icereach. Feal-Thas setup his forces at Icewall Castle, where his forces regrouped from the journey and prepared for another assault. Feal-Thas developed an alliance with the ogres of Daltigoth, and added the thanoi to his ground forces, forming an alliance of sorts with the walrus-men. A group of heroes, including Sturm Brightblade and Laurana Kanan, infiltrated Icewall Castle and killed Highlord Feal-Thas at this time, before escaping.
352 AC[]
With the White Dragonarmy leaderless and foundering in Icereach, Ariakas quickly assigned the hobgoblin Toede to the army as the acting White Dragon Highlord. The army did little for most of 352 AC, with Toede off cavorting in Balifor for part of the time, and getting himself killed whilst on a hunting trip. The leaderless White Dragonarmy marched to Neraka, under the summons of Ariakas.
353-357 AC[]
After the death of Ariakas and the defeat of the Dragonarmies at Neraka, the remnant White Dragonarmy forces returned to Icereach. The army, now led by Highlord Barbarossa, was stretched to the limit protecting the borders of Icereach from marauding silver dragons and the Ice Folk, who raided their forces occasionally. In 357 AC, the White Dragonarmy collapsed completely and was destroyed.
