The Worldscap Mountains are the tallest mountains on all of Ansalon. They are located on the Isle of Karthay, and are home to the Kyrie race and some barbaric Minotaurs living in caves. They were home to the first volcanoes, that were created when Takhisis screamed at Sargonnas. They are largely unexplored, but said to have many lush, impenetrable rainforests in the mountains. Even though they had the planet's first active volcanoes, they remained dormant until the Cataclysm struck Krynn. During that time they erupted, but would remain dormant again until 345 AC when one erupted.
